At a young age, Andrew loved creating and building. Both interest and capability grew through the years, and a decision was made to pursue a profession in construction. He landed at Lehigh University where he completed a five-year dual degree program, earning a BA in Architecture and a BS in Civil Engineering with a structural focus. Andrew’s career in construction engineering began with six years at Zieman Engineering, where he provided solutions to contractors working on complex infrastructure projects. His work included designing temporary supports and bracing, jacking systems, demolition and erection plans, mobile crane installations, and custom rigging equipment. He shifted gears and spent the next five years in the building design and construction field. His work included designing foundations, framing systems, and structural reinforcements for custom homes and light commercial buildings. In 2010, Andrew returned to construction engineering at Siefert Associates. Clients turn to him for creative solutions based on his comprehensive engineering knowledge, analytical competence, attention to detail, and hands-on experience. His ability to visualize complex structures allows him to help project teams identify challenges prior to construction. He serves as Senior Vice President, team lead and project manager, and is licensed in CT, MA and NY. Andrew resides in the southwest corner of MA in a home that he designed and built. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, all forms of exercise and the outdoors, and many hobbies.
