Koch Skanska was contracted for the rehabilitation of the main spans of the Williamsburg Bridge, including the replacement of the truss bearings and miscellaneous steal retrofits to the structure. Siefert Associates, LLC played a vital role in assisting Skanska with a smooth bearing replacement by providing the heavy rigging for demolition and erection plans allowing Koch Skanska to quickly and efficiently remove and replace the existing bearings that weighed upwards of 20 tons from a height of over 80 feet.
