The 50th Street Ventilation Facility for the Long Island Railroad East Side Access is being constructed by CCA and Halmar under a joint venture. Due to space restrictions on the site, the storage of materials and tools is an issue for the construction of this facility. Siefert Associates, LLC played an important role in the solution to create more space on the job site by designing a temporary 3-story storage container structure with timber walkways for container access. Siefert Associates, LLC also provided construction engineering services for the design of temporary work platforms.
